These pictures need to be documented using the notes that Tom and I made when we collected them.

This post card sent from Annie (signature) to Nettie from Auburn confirms that all of the pictures here are from Annie's house.  Can we assume that the picture above is Annie and then use that to identify Annie and George in the group shot below.  Also note the remodeling done between this picture and the ones below.

 

 

 

Material to be Incorporated

1900 Census: 16 Aspen Street, Auburn; George (age 60), day laborer; owns/mortgage home; Anna (age 50), married 27 years; can read write and speak English

1910 Census: 16 Aspen Street, Auburn; George (age 71), picker in rope work industry; owns/free home; Anna (age 60), married 35 years; year of immigration 1853 (amazing how this is gets misplaced from the true, 1851, date as recorded in the ship's records; housework

1920 Census: 18 Aspen Street, Auburn; George (age 83), not employed; Anna (age 70); year of immigration 1800 (???); other language (German); year of naturalization, 1855 (does this mean that the rest of the family was naturalized then?)
